WFGS: Revolutionary War Clothing

WFGS is celebrating America 250 with a presentation on Revolutionary War-era clothing.Our speaker, Jan Beck from the Daughters of the American Revolution, will come dressed in Revolutionary War attire and speak about what women had to go through to get dressed each day. Today, we take for granted how easy it is and how few pieces of clothing we wear compared to the women of the Revolutionary War era. Jan is the Regent of the Pensacola Chapter of the DAR. She has been a DAR member for more than 20 years.Our meetings are held in person at the Pensacola Library on Spring Street. in August, we will be upstairs in the Genealogy Dept.
