Join us as Indigenous artists from across Australia unite for the National Indigenous Art Fair (NIAF) 2026! Held from 3โ5 July at The Cutaway, Barangaroo, this vibrant art market is a key part of the celebrations for NAIDOC Week.
The Fair is an ethical marketplace, showcasing an opportunity to purchase artworks directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists representing community-owned art centres from the Northern Territory, South Australia, and Western Australia. ๐โ
In line with the 2026 National NAIDOC theme, 50 Years of Deadly, NIAF 2026 presents a rich program featuring live music, dance performances, large-scale installations, moving image works, and weaving circlesโan exceptional celebration of Blak excellence in one of Sydneyโs most distinctive cultural venues ๐ถ๐.
Special Highlights:
- Opening Night on Friday 3 July, offering exclusive early access to art and the chance to connect with artists.
- A group of inspiring Ambassadors including Rachel Perkins, Dennis Golding, Alison Page, Jazz Money, Sebastian Goldspink, and Daniel Browning.
- An esteemed curatorium of First Nations curators guiding the program: Emily McDaniel (Talks), Miah Madden (Living Room), Rebecca Ray (Installation), and Kaleena Briggs (Music) ๐ค.
