Natures Grid with Liz Cooksey

🌿 Join us for an inspiring day as we delve into the wonders of nature through art! In this workshop, led by Liz Cooksey, we will explore a fascinating mix of media, materials, and techniques to bring the beauty of the natural world to life.

We will create small-scale reactions to the textures, shapes, and colors we discover in nature. Using wrapping and binding techniques with fine hand-dyed threads and fabric, we will also incorporate hand stitching for embellishments, along with fragments of paper and print. 🌼

To add structure and form, we'll combine these elements with wire, crafting elegant pieces that will be arranged within a small wooden grid to form a formal composition.

💷 Cost: £85 (includes all materials)
☕ Enjoy hot drinks, biscuits, and cake throughout the day! Just remember to bring a packed lunch; we’ll have a break, and there’s a café and shop just down the road.
