Along the Way: Pilgrim Walk

Join us for our ninth annual Pilgrim Walk – a serene 4.8-mile journey through Palos Verdes, culminating at the sacred retreat center. Inspired by the famous pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, this half-day walk is uniquely tailored to our local community and surroundings.

What to Expect:

• 🙏 Receive a pilgrim blessing before you start.
• 🛑 Stop at reflection stations along the route to have your passport stamped.
• 🌼 Experience a peaceful, meditative journey with fellow pilgrims.

Open to all ages and faiths. All activities will be held outdoors!

Important Information:

• This walk is moderately difficult with narrow, rocky, and uneven trails.
• 🚫 No dogs, strollers, skateboards, or bicycles permitted for safety.
• What to Wear: Closed-toe walking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen – and don’t forget your smile! 😊

Schedule:

• 7:00 am - Registration Opens
• 7:30 am - Pilgrim Blessing, first groups depart
• 11:30 am - Closing Prayer
• 12:00 pm - Picnic Lunch with Live Music
