AMC Trio

The AMC Trio is a successful Slovak jazz ensemble that, over the course of three decades, has risen to the top of both the Slovak and international jazz scenes. The band is known for not playing traditional jazz standards, but focuses exclusively on its own original compositions with characteristic catchy melodies and narrative backgrounds.

The trio has gained fame through its collaborations with leading international instrumentalists. Stars such as Randy Brecker, Philip Catherine, Bill Evans, and Ulf Wakenius regularly collaborate with them on concerts and albums. Their album One Way Road To My Heart won the prestigious Radio_Head Award for Best Jazz Album of 2013. Among their latest projects are the studio album Following The Light and an intensive collaboration with Slovak music legend Peter Lipa on the album and tour Lipa Sings AMC Trio.
