ECHO Rising Stars: Trio Concept

Join us for an enchanting evening as the award-winning Trio Concept takes center stage! 🌟 Experience a captivating selection of piano pieces that traverse the musical landscape from Paris and beyond throughout the last century.

The program beautifully contrasts the charm of early 20th-century French compositions by renowned composers Lili Boulanger, Maurice Ravel, and Alfredo Casella with innovative contemporary works, including a special new piece by German composer Clemens Thomas.

Formed in 2013, Trio Concept brings together three incredibly talented musicians from Turin: Edoardo Grieco (violin), Francesco Massimino (cello), and Lorenzo Nguyen (piano). 🌍 In 2023, this ensemble achieved remarkable success as a YCAT Artist and clinched first prize at the Schoenfeld International Competition in Harbin, China. Following an enriching three-week residency at the 2024 Verbier Festival Academy, the trio earned the Prix Yves Paternot, the festival's highest recognition for exceptional talent and promise.
