Happy Hour with Darden & Friends: Fran Vielma Quartet

Join us for an incredible evening featuring Fran Vielma, a renowned multi-percussionist from the Venezuelan Andes! 🎉 With his rich background in Pan-American rhythms, jazz, and concert music, Vielma will take you on a musical journey like no other. 🎵

Formerly a fellow with the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Fran has graced stages across the continent with his Venezuelan Jazz Collective. His latest release, Tendencias, is celebrated in the Best of 2018 lists by Downbeat, Latin Jazz Network, and NYC Jazz Record. 🌍✨

Fran has collaborated with esteemed artists, including John Medeski, George Garzone, Antonio Sanchez, and many more! 🎷🥁 He also shares his knowledge as adjunct jazz faculty at Peabody Institute and other prestigious institutions.
