🗓 DATE: Sunday, 21 June 2026.
⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.05am.
🚌 MEETING PLACE: at the bus stop opposite Cafe K @ The Bay (formerly Endeavour Cafe), Kurnell. Refer attached maps - photos 3 & 4.
🗺️ Please use Google maps, not Meetup maps!

🥾 DISTANCE: 12km return.
🥾 GRADE: Easy/Moderate on a relaxing pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven surfaces, stair climbs and rocks hopping at few sections.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶‍♂️This is a shorter version of Kurnell to Cronulla Walk. This great coastal walk follows the coastline from the clifftops in Kamay Botany Bay National Park between Cape Solander and Cape Baily Lighthouse.
🚶🏼‍♀️ Tracks expected to be wet and muddy at few sections.
🚶‍♂️We’ll start our exciting adventure from the bus stop, Captain Cook's Landing Place opposite Cafe K @ The Bay through Kamay Botany Bay NP.
🐋 There are few interesting plaques, monuments and a bronze sculptures.
🐳 We will spot some whales along the clifftop.

🚻 Public toilet block located near the monument.
⚠️ NOTE - no toilets or cafes along the tracks past this point!

🏖️ After photo sessions, we’ll continue along the coastline towards Cape Solander, one of the best whale watching spots in Sydney.
🐳 We will then continue to Cape Baily Lighthouse where we will have BYO lunch break with fantastic ocean view.
🐋 After lunch, we will head back to the starting point at the bus stop, Kurnell.
🥧 You’re welcome to have a well deserved drinks and a bite to eat (optional) at one of the cafes near the bus stop before heading home.
