What is LIMELIGHT
A cultural platform where women shaping the world connect through art, becoming part of a shared collective narrative
A multidisciplinary project evolving beyond a single exhibition into a lasting international movement
A distinctive artistic language that shifts perception and reveals unseen layers of reality
A network of visionary women united by creativity as a catalyst for cultural and social change
Light moves through women, and women move through the world.
Investors, founders, CEOs, and philanthropists dissolve into light, yet their essence becomes even more perceptible.
Through the artist’s hand, each woman enters a unified symbolic field:
A photographic portrait layered with lime, as though enveloped by the glow of a stage spotlight, connected to the others through a shared intensity of presence.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
"In my work, lime is the material embodiment of light: it absorbs the image, protects it, and translates it into another state.
Through repeated brushstrokes, the surface becomes an autonomous field.
The reduction of the image does not weaken its force; it intensifies it.
The women in LIMELIGHT are not presented through conventional likeness, but as figures of clarity, concentration, and luminous power.
Their features dissolve, while their presence becomes stronger."
