We are thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for the SHNH International Summer Meeting, titled ‘The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) at 200: Science, Society and the Natural World’ in collaboration with the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).

This three-day conference, celebrating SHNH’s 90th anniversary, coincides with the bicentenary of ZSL and will examine its historical significance and influence on our understanding of the natural world. Originating during the era of empire and Enlightenment science, ZSL has both impacted and been impacted by changes in zoological knowledge, conservation practices, and human-animal relationships.
