A guided tour of the exhibition 1796–1918: Art of the Long Century at the Trade Fair Palace, led by art historian Markéta Čejková, will introduce you to 19th-century Czech painting and its leading figures, such as Josef Mánes, Adolf Kosárek, František Ženíšek, and Jan Preisler. You’ll gain insight into the phenomenon of Czech landscape painting and historical painting and its transition to modernism
