Join us for an engaging exploration of a chapter from Speculative Everything, a foundational text in speculative design that prompts us to ask: What if design wasn't solely about solving problems, but about envisioning alternatives?

This week, we'll dive into Chapter 2: A Map of Unreality.

What to Expect:

Each Monday, we will discuss a chapter, using the book as a catalyst for conversation, collective inquiry, and experimentation. The reading group will culminate in a collaborative public showcase, featuring works inspired by the series. The exhibition may include installations, speculative objects, design fictions, research artifacts, performances, publications, and other experiments that bring alternative futures to life.

Participation:
You don't need to attend every session to join the book club. Each chapter is self-contained, allowing you to participate in the discussions that intrigue you most. Regular attendees will have enhanced opportunities to shape the exhibition's direction and contribute to collective projects.

Whether you're an artist, designer, technologist, researcher, writer, futurist, or simply curious about alternate possibilities, this series provides a space to collectively envision potential worlds—and perhaps start building them.
