Acalento draws inspiration from the cuddle party concept first established in New York around twenty years ago. This unique event is all about creating an atmosphere of care and tenderness in a safe, sober, and non-sexualized environment.

Each session lasts approximately 3 hours and is open to individuals aged 18 and above, embracing all identities. Acalento encourages exploration of personal limits and preferences in touch, allowing participants to experience the healing power of physical closeness.

What to expect: nurturing, cuddling, embracing, snuggling, and pampering. We begin with a review of interaction guidelines, followed by a series of exercises designed to enhance proximity and consent. Finally, participants enjoy a free interaction zone where they can connect in pairs, trios, or larger groups, prioritizing tactile experiences and using verbal communication only to express consent.

In Portugal, cuddle parties remain quite rare. My goal is to broaden this practice, building a diverse community that shares and receives Acalento while breaking down language, economic, and other barriers. The session is conducted in Portuguese, with English translation available if needed.

Participation requires a prior interview.
