About the Band:
Before rising to fame as pioneers of the “Midwest Emo” scene, American Football was an indie rock band rooted in the University of Illinois. Founded by the talented Mike Kinsella, along with Steve Holmes and Steve Lamos, the band crafted a sound inspired by musical greats such as Steve Reich and Tortoise. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1999, sparked a legendary journey that saw them undergo a remarkable resurgence in 2014, captivating new and old fans alike.

With their roots firmly planted in emotional storytelling and unique soundscapes, they've collaborated with remarkable artists like Hayley Williams and Ethel Cain. Celebrate 25 years of their influential debut album with a special evening filled with nostalgia and inspiring music! 🎉
