Annual Open and Running Day

Once again, it's time for our Annual Summer Running Day. Once again you can have a ride on classic buses between the Museum and Walsall, Chasewater Heaths and around Aldridge and up to Barr Beacon. Like the Spring event, our services will be slightly reduced, to allow for the high cost of fuel and the non-availability of some of our vehicles. With visiting buses adding to our own, there will still be a good selection of buses available for rides and to look at, and sales stands will be attending. Great Barr Brass will again give us a musical background during the afternoon and the Co-op will be having their own display outside the Museum, showing off their Morris-Commercial which usually lives inside the Museum (weather permitting). More details to come - free buses from Walsall (Hatherton Road) to the Museum will be half hourly from 10.20, but if you're coming by car, please park at the Community Centre (WS9 8AN) and use the free bus from Walsall or the Village Tour, which will provide a service to the Museum every 15 minutes approx.If you want to enter a vehicle or have a sales stand, please download a form from our website, rather than use Facebook or Messenger.
