Antología
Performance Antología is a selection of eight scenes from the work of Black Light Theatre Srnec since its foundation in 1961 – including The Flying Bicycle, What’s next?, White Pierot in Black, and The Week of Dreams.
Visitors will discover what their underwear is doing when they’re not looking, learn that street lamps can be humans' most dangerous foes, and realize that animals are much more intelligent than people may have thought.
This mime-based show, filled with witty humor, dance, and black-light theatre skills, aims to uplift the audience while addressing some qualities of human nature encountered daily. The name Antología comes from Greek, meaning a selection of the best poems, and it is one of the company's favorite titles. The performance has been showcased in front of 15,000 spectators in a sold-out square in Campobasso, Italy, and has been attended by presidents in Nicaragua and El Salvador. In 2002, four scenes represented the Czech Republic during the NATO Summit in Prague.
Please note that the Reduta theatre stage is not wheelchair accessible.
