Art Class: Glass Kaleidoscopes

Step into a world of color, light, and magic in this stained-glass kaleidoscope workshop! 🌈 Learn how to assemble and align a mirror system inside and decorate the outside using the Tiffany method, a stained-glass construction technique. Discover the science and magic of polarized film to create stunning visual reflections.

Participants will be guided through the creative process, exploring:

• Glass cutting ✂️
• Copper foiling 🥇
• Assembly 🛠️

This class is suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike. All tools and equipment are provided.

Ages: 15 and up.

Instructors:

• Katie Knopp: An artist with a passion for various art mediums, she has been working with glass since 2000 and discovered the art of kaleidoscopes in 2017.
• Blair A. Minick: An art educator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography and a Master of Arts in Teaching, she has extensive experience teaching various art courses.
