🎨 Join us at the Art Table!

A vibrant monthly meetup for all artists, with a special focus on queer and BIPOC creators.

Doesn't it feel like it's becoming increasingly difficult to make art these days? Let's gather for commiseration, collaboration, and skill-sharing. Writers, visual artists, musicians, textile artists, filmmakers, photographers—if you've been wanting to meet other artists, especially outside your discipline, come and share your work!

You will:

• Connect with fellow artists
• Share your artwork and get constructive feedback
• Set goals and learn from others in different disciplines
• Remember, you're not alone on this journey!

Event Structure:
We'll have an hour to chat and an hour for 4-5 people to share their work and receive feedback. Entry ends at 7:15pm.

Hosts: Niv Sekar and Bailey Quinlan

Technical Setup:
We'll have a laptop and projector available. If you'll be sharing digital media (audio, video, images), please email Bailey & Niv before the event at [email protected] & [email protected].

Accessibility:
The Backspace is wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom is not. We can direct you to a nearby, friendly location with an accessible restroom if needed. The bathroom is genderless. Masks are encouraged but not required—we'll have masks available on the day. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out via DMs and we'll do our best to support you.
