In the exhibition as companions, Anania Røde explores the complexities of loving something that frightens us or forces us to confront uncomfortable truths. Through her captivating sculptures, Røde delves into the challenge of embracing what scares us and nurturing the monstrous aspects within ourselves and others.
About Anania Røde:
Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 1997, Røde grew up in a small village on the coast of Helgeland, Northern Norway. She holds a BA from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
