Carved from a former limestone quarry in the 1960s, the historic Quarry Amphitheater reopened after a major renovation in October 2017. It has hosted legendary artists, activists, and authors, including Angela Davis and Ravi Shankar. Known as the “Red Rocks in the Redwoods,” it is the largest outdoor venue in the greater Santa Cruz community, with a maximum capacity of 2,600.

The Quarry's unique terraced design offers amazing sight-lines and various seating configurations, making it a premier outdoor concert destination while retaining its natural beauty.
