Join us for an unforgettable evening with Azure McCall, Hawaii’s first lady of jazz and a multi-award-winning vocalist! 🌺

Heir to the vocal traditions of legends like Sarah Vaughn, Carmen McRae, and Ella Fitzgerald, Azure brings warmth and humor to every performance. After releasing her debut CD, Body and Soul, she toured with the legendary bassist Ray Brown and his band, featuring talents like Geoff Keezer, Kareem Riggins, Joe Lovano, and Nicholas Peyton.

Azure has also been the first singer for The Freddy Hubbard Band and performed alongside the great Frank Morgan. Her discography includes three CDs: Body and Soul, Harlem Nocturne, and The Gift, featuring renowned musicians such as Vinnie Colaiuta and Alphonso Johnson.

A highlight of her career was performing at the Monterey Jazz Festival at the invitation of Dizzy Gillespie. In 2008, she had the honor of performing at President Barack Obama's pre-election party. 🎶

Azure has traveled to over 50 countries as the ‘jazz diva’ for celebrity and royal Caribbean cruises. Now, she is excited to return to her roots in Berkeley, California, giving back to her community by teaching at the Oakland Public Conservatory of Music and the Jazz School in Berkeley.
