Indie Live celebrates the start of the school year with Back To School Fest! 🌟

Penelope Road is an Atlanta soul-pop quintet featuring:

• Max Moore (lead vocals/guitar)
• Charles Eastman (lead vocals/keys)
• Koan Roy-Meighoo (vocals/guitar)
• James Kopp (bass)
• Anthony Smith (drums)

The band aims to revive immersive performances, having sold over 20,000 tickets in the first half of 2025. From their beginnings jamming in a college house on Penelope Road to going viral with attic jam clips, their grassroots following led to a deal with Warner Records. Their self-titled 2024 EP and the second EP, The Diamond Street Sessions, showcase their warm, groove-filled tracks like “Out Tonight” and “Flowers (Carry Me Home).”

Penelope Road closed out 2025 with three sold-out hometown shows and a feature on Grammy.com for their Eagles cover “Lyin’ Eyes.” They are set to take their momentum into 2026 with a North American headline tour, marking them as one of today’s most exciting bands to watch! 🚀
