This course is exclusively available for paying members of Bitraf. If you're not yet a member, please register for a membership at Bitraf Membership before enrolling in the course.
Band saws are perfect for cutting curves and intricate shapes in wood, as well as ripping lumber to size, resawing, and creating joints. While band saws are generally safer than table saws, it's important to recognize that they can still be dangerous. Completion of this band saw course at Bitraf is mandatory before you can operate the machinery.

⚠️ Important Information:
- These courses can fill up quickly! If you’re unable to attend after signing up, please RSVP 'no' to free your spot for someone else.
- The course starts promptly at 16:00 in the wood workshop. Arrive early to grab coffee and settle in. Timeliness is crucial as latecomers may miss essential information and not be certified to use the machines.
- To cover the running costs of the machines at Bitraf, only paying members can participate in this course. Join Bitraf at Join Bitraf before signing up.
- The course includes a theoretical presentation followed by practical training. Upon completion, you'll gain access to the ‘TOOLS’ tool access system, enabling you to start using the band saw confidently.
