SFUXD exists because design (and the way designers think) has the potential to shape how the world solves its hardest problems. We continue to build a community around that belief.
If you've been looking for a way to connect more deeply with the design community, explore big ideas, utilize your skillset outside of designing screens - becoming a community host can be one of the more rewarding ways to do it.

⭐️ What's a community host?
Someone who designs and produces events for the SFUXD community. This includes handling the details that make it happen, from concept to execution. While we LOVE a self-starter, guidance and support is there however and whenever you need it.

A panel or speaker series on a topic you care about
A UX book club or critique circle
A studio or company tour
A workshop or hands-on session
An idea you've been waiting for someone else to make happen

This will be an informal conversation and open dialogue to learn about SFUXD and becoming a community host, gather ideas, and answer any questions you might have!
