Bluebells, castles and Stour Valley views on a Kent spring walk
Join us for a circular walk through some of Kent’s finest landscapes, which are particularly rewarding in spring. We’ll cross rolling hills and quiet woodland, where we should see bluebells in bloom at this time of year, and enjoy good views across the Stour Valley. We’ll visit two of Kent’s most appealing villages, each full of character and set within countryside that reflects the county’s reputation as the Garden of England, with orchards and hop gardens nearby. The walk will finish at the castle in the typical old English village of Chilham, which has featured in film productions such as A Canterbury Tale, and we’ll round everything off with an optional, well-earned drink in a small traditional pub.
