Om evenemanget

Join us for a fascinating journey through the art of Bolesław Biegas at the Mazovian Museum in Płock! 🌟 With a legacy spanning 25 years, this exhibition showcases a collection of 57 mesmerizing works that highlight Biegas's extraordinary talent.

Located at 8 Tumska Street, the exhibition features a stunning array of plaster sculptures from the early 20th century, including two notable designs for the Hommage Allied monument dating back to 1918. Additionally, you’ll find thirteen captivating paintings, with two of the oldest pieces named Silent Perversion and Satanic Gaze, both created in 1945.

A standout piece of this display is a specially crafted linen fabric adorned with intricate designs by Biegas, intricately embroidered by local peasant women near Kyiv, Ukraine. This fabric pays homage to the generous support Biegas received from Baron Henryk Trütschel and his wife, Jadwiga, who treated him like family.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to appreciate the timeless art of Bolesław Biegas!
