Valby Kino is thrilled to introduce a new concept led by Yasmine Serroukh!
Yasmine, a polyglot with roots in Morocco, Spain, and Italy, has resided in Denmark for a decade. She is a tech professional, a mother, and passionate about arts, games, and comedy.

🌟 What is the Book Movie Club?
Yasmine describes it as:
"A hyggelig and fun community where we read a book at home, watch its film adaptation together at the cinema, and then chat about it over snacks. It’s perfect if you’re looking for motivation to read more, discover new genres, or simply meet fellow book and film lovers."

📅 The Book Movie Club meets every other month on the last Wednesday of the month.
Our inaugural gathering features Homer's The Odyssey and its stunning film adaptation by Christopher Nolan, starring Matt Damon as Odysseus.
Whether you’re revisiting The Odyssey or discovering it anew, everyone is welcome!
