BRICO Collective X Absalon Quartet

Join us for an innovative musical experience featuring original compositions by talented Copenhagen-based composers! 🌟

This concert showcases new works from the BRICO Collective, made up of:

• Tom Irvine 🎼
• Laura Veltri 🎼

They are collaborating with the award-winning Absalon String Quartet, bringing fresh energy and unique perspectives to classical music. The BRICO Collective members, who all studied together in the Rhythmic Composition masters program at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, are set to premiere new string quartet pieces, blending their diverse musical backgrounds that include pop, folk, electronic, and jazz with classical instrumentation.

The Absalon Quartet, likewise, boasts a rich tapestry of influences, having recently clinched the Rued Langgaard competition in 2021 and the Léonie Sonnings Talent Prize in 2023, alongside victories in P2's Chamber Music Competition. Their vibrant approach promises to deliver a captivating performance! 🎉
