Canal Shuffle Sept 2026

🏃‍♂️🌟 Get ready for the 7 Hour Canal Shuffle Challenge! Join us at Sampford Peverell, located just minutes from the M5, for a fun-filled day along the beautiful Grand Western Canal!

Choose your distance: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, Ultramarathon, or anything in between. You have 7 hours to run as many laps as you'd like. Whether you want to achieve your goal distance or go beyond, the choice is yours!

Each lap is an out-and-back route, allowing you to enjoy the company of fellow runners each time you pass them. Starting at Sampford Peverell, the scenic route leads you to an aid station located at Burlscecombe and you’ll find the turnaround point approximately 3.3 miles from the start.

Here’s how it breaks down:

• 1 Lap = 10k
• 2 Laps = Half Marathon
• 4 Laps = Marathon
• 5 Laps or more = Ultramarathon

Complete 2 or 3 laps to earn your spot in the 100 Half Marathon Club, and complete 4 laps or more for the 100 Marathon Club. All participants will receive a bespoke medal after completing at least one lap! 🎖️ Plus, enjoy delicious cake at the finish line! 🍰
