Few bands can claim the kind of legacy that Centinex has built in Swedish death metal. Founded in Hedemora, Dalarna back in 1990 as a five-piece with dual vocalists, they wasted no time stepping into the legendary Sunlight Studios in 1991 — and the genre hasn't been the same since.

Over three decades, the band has unleashed twelve albums, toured relentlessly across Europe, North America, and beyond, and worked with celebrated labels including Repulse, Candlelight, Agonia, and Black Lion Records. Following a hiatus and a powerful 2014 reformation spearheaded by founding bassist Martin Schulman, Centinex returned with renewed hunger and intensity.

Their latest record, With Guts and Glory (2025, Black Lion Records), is a ferocious collision of raw death metal, thrash speed, and d-beat aggression — 35 years in, and absolutely zero compromise. 🔥
