Synopsis:
Many people lack knowledge of sexual minorities and may hold prejudices against them. This public welfare documentary focuses on the life stories of sexual minorities at various stages, including those who have come out, those who are married, and those awaiting the legalization of gay marriage. The film aims to promote understanding of sexual minorities, advocate for healthy living, and help individuals realize their self-identity, ultimately reducing social prejudice and enhancing trust and tolerance among people.

Director Biography:
Jiang Nengjie is a renowned independent filmmaker and documentarian born in Hunan province in 1985. He established Mianhuasha Film Studio in 2009 and has produced numerous documentaries focusing on rural life in China. His notable works include Children at a Village School (2014), which won Best Documentary Film at the 3rd Phoenix Documentary Awards, and Miners, the Horsekeeper and Pneumoconiosis (2019), which gained popularity due to increased public attention to health issues after the coronavirus outbreak.
