Cimbal Classic

Cimbal Classic is a Brno-based cross-genre band led by Kateřina and Dalibor Štrunc (among others, violinist and cimbalom player for the Ulrych siblings' band Javory), which has been a fixture on the Czech folk and alternative music scene for more than thirty years. It is definitely one of the most distinctive groups on the Czech folk and alternative music scene, offering listeners a unique experience in the form of Dalibor Štrunc's original songs, which contain not only elements of folk, folklore, and world music, but also a touch of classical music, floating somewhere on the border between these genres.

The band members are: Dalibor Štrunc - cimbalom, vocals, Kateřina Štruncová - violin, vocals, Kateřina Kovaříková - viola, Rastislav Kozoň - oboe, soprano saxophone, recorders, Tomáš Mosler - guitar, clarinet, Marek Švestka - bass guitar, double bass
