Čistírna1906: Sbor Lada

The Lada collective’ Choir was formed in November 2015 by a group of friends united by their enthusiasm for music and singing together; their repertoire consists of Moravian folk songs. They select songs with a feminine character—love songs, wedding songs, work songs, ballads, and more—and strive to interpret them in the style of the bearers of folk culture. In recent years, they have also had opportunities to sing and perform in folklore settings. In addition to performing, their goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the way of life, singing, and music of their ancestors, including through collaboration with ethnomusicologists.
