About Us

Berlin moves fast, and it's easy to feel disconnected from yourself, others, and the city around you. That's why we started City Daze - a walking club where good conversations and mindful exploring come together. Founded by Zoe and Rose, City Daze takes you through various green spaces in the city while connecting you to other people.

Register here if you are joining us on the walk. Join our main WhatsApp community here and our Berlin specific community here where we'll send location pins, walk info, and a place to meet and chat with other walkers.

What to Expect

Upon arrival, one of our crew members will welcome you and get you settled into a group immediately—no standing around wondering what to do.

During the walk, you'll be paired up at least twice with someone new. Each pairing comes with specially curated conversation cards designed to help you reflect and connect deeper than usual small talk.

We pause along the route for a moment of guided mindful breathing, allowing you to slow down and appreciate your surroundings. Afterward, you're welcome to walk with whomever you like.

The walk concludes at the social, where everyone is welcome to stay as long as they like.

City Daze FAQs

What's the best way to get in touch on the day?
On the day of the walk, the best way to reach us is via WhatsApp, where we’ll share live location updates for anyone running late.

Will there be photography?
Yes, we capture moments from our walks, including flash photography. If you prefer not to be featured in any photos or videos, just inform a crew member on the day.

How will images be used?
Photos and videos may be shared on our social channels, website, newsletters, and press features.

Is it always the same route?
No, we explore different routes throughout the city each time.

How physically demanding is the walk?
These are slow, city-paced walks covering about 5km at a relaxed speed, with breaks every 20 minutes for regrouping and short guided breathwork moments.

Is the route wheelchair accessible?
Accessibility depends on the specific walk; please check each page for details. If you have specific needs, feel free to email us in advance.

What should I bring?
Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Bringing water is always a good idea. More details will be shared on the event page.

What if the weather changes?
We walk rain or shine. If conditions are unsafe, we'll email everyone with an update.

Is there a code of conduct?
Yes, we want City Daze to feel welcoming, respectful, and safe. We do not tolerate harassment or harmful behavior. Please report any issues to a member of the crew.

Can I come on my own?
Absolutely! Many participants attend solo and find new friends.

If I come with a friend, will we be split up?
That’s entirely your choice. You can stay together, mix it up, or a bit of both—just let us know.

Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
We don’t offer refunds, but if you can’t attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend; just inform us ahead of time.
