The band also shines at festivals and will be among the headliners at the Saturday Love festival in North London, where they will proudly feature as the backing band for the legendary Tom Browne - known as “Mr Funkin’ For Jamaica.” City Funk Orchestra has previously opened for illustrious acts like Average White Band and Kid Creole and the Coconuts.

Fronting the group are two of the UK's premier soul vocalists: Imaani - a beloved lead singer from the acclaimed jazz funk group Incognito, and the mesmerizing Angelo Starr, brother of the soul legend Edwin Starr. They are backed by a stellar rhythm section featuring Nial Tompkins on guitar, Carl Hudson on keys, Matt Pegg on bass, and Geoff Dunn on drums.
