Kentridge grew up in Johannesburg during the time of apartheid, raised within a family deeply committed to the ideals of social justice. Even during his student years, he was active in movements opposing the apartheid regime. These formative experiences shaped an artistic practice that reflects the social and historical tensions of South Africa while addressing universal themes of human existence.This guided tour will be held in Czech.
