After two years of living without proper documentation in the UK, Nigerian migrant Isio finds herself apprehended and sent to Hatchworth Removal Centre. She believes her asylum claim will be treated fairly as long as she adheres to the rules. However, her cellmate, Farah, warns her that the reality is much harsher than she anticipates. As Isio navigates life in the removal centre, she develops feelings for Farah and forms a bond with friends Nana and Atefeh. When Isio's asylum application is denied, Farah suggests they escape together to pursue their love. Isio hesitates, but as external pressures threaten to separate them, they are compelled to make a drastic decision.
