
Codex Impact Workshop - AI·SW Maestro Program

This event is organized by Codex Ambassador Han Seo-woo and is not an official OpenAI event.
Only mentees participating in the AI·SW Maestro 17th program can apply.
💡 From Profitable Problems to Societal Needs
Join us for a collaborative workshop where teams of two will work with Codex to create small yet functional solutions over 2 hours and 30 minutes.
📅 Date & Location
- Date: September 4, 2026
- Time: 15:00–20:00
- Venue: AI·SW Maestro Seoul Center, 7th Floor, Space S (Post Tower Mapo)
👥 Participants
- Maximum of 24 mentees from the AI·SW Maestro 17th program
- Teams of 2 (individual applications followed by team matching)
- Each team will present for 3–4 minutes, with a maximum of 12 teams
🛠️ What Will You Create?
Choose a social issue that interests you, such as accessibility, care, education, mental health, climate, regional disparities, or public information. Focus on creating a small prototype that operates with one input, one output, and one human review.
⏰ Timeline
- 15:00–15:30: Intro
- Introduction and Q&A session (up to 30 minutes)
- 15:30–18:00: Build & Talk
- Development phase with judges joining at 17:30 to observe progress
- 18:00–19:00: 3–4-Minute Demo & Judging
- Up to 12 teams present, followed by brief feedback from judges
- 19:00–20:00: Q&A & Optional Networking
- Q&A session and optional networking with external judges until 19:30
🎁 Participant Benefits
- Each participant will receive $100 in Codex Credit
- Light meals and beverages will be provided
- Top 3 teams will be selected
- Team members from the winning teams will receive 6 months of Codex Pro
🏆 Judging Criteria (Total 100 Points)
- Problem Definition and Social Value - 25 points
- Solution and Product Completeness - 30 points
- Collaboration Process - 15 points
- Codex Utilization and Validation - 20 points
- Presentation and Reflection - 10 points
📝 Application and Team Matching
All participants must apply individually. Based on motivation, problems to solve, expected outcomes, strengths, and collaboration conditions, the organizers will form teams of two after approval.
📜 Results and Disclosure
Copyright of the results belongs to the respective mentees or teams. Only with consent will the results be curated and promoted from the perspective of Codex Ambassador.
🔍 Privacy
Personal information, passwords, API keys, and internal documents should not be included in the results or submitted ZIP files.
