WHAT IS IT?

Welcome to Lisbon's first-ever Comedy Gong Show at Selva Comedy Café! 🎤✨ Join us for an interactive experience where you hold the power to pick the winner! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

This is no ordinary show; it’s a live competition! Get ready for a fast-paced, merciless format:

• Each comedian gets 30 seconds to impress the audience (that's you!) before you can raise a red card ❌.
• Every raised card rings the bell 🔔.
• Collect 3 red cards and it’s goodbye! 👋

Comedians must endure 3 full minutes onstage with a maximum of 2 red cards to stay in the game. If they survive, they advance to the next round ⏭️!

In the final showdown, the audience votes to crown the ultimate winner! 👏

WHY IS IT FUN?

Who doesn’t love watching people struggle (safely, of course)? 😂 This thrilling format means comedians face stress as they try to sway your judgment, all while navigating past the potential judgment of their parents! 😮‍💨 Voluntary participation ensures a night full of unforgettable moments and endless laughter.

By the end, we’ll all walk away better comedians, better friends, and hopefully more empathetic, except for the judges—we need you to be mean! 🌟

Judges will rotate frequently, so you might get a chance to join in as one of the decision-makers! Expect around 15 comedians vying for your approval and the coveted prize 🏆 (details to be revealed at the event)!

Join us at the charming Selva Comedy Café located in Alcântara, Lisbon. This cozy venue is perfect for stand-up comedy and other intimate shows, easily accessible by public transport (tram, bus).

🕗 Doors open at 8:30 PM—arrive early to grab a drink and secure your seat. Snacks and drinks will be available for your enjoyment!
