Compost for a Greener Tomorrow: DIY Compost Build
Join us for a hands-on volunteer day at the OKC Farmers Market District's new Compost Education Site at Crosses Caps! πΏ
Collaborate with the OKC Farmers Market District, Oklahoma County OSU Extension, and the Oklahoma Compost & Sustainability Association (OCASA) to construct a three-bin compost system, creating a permanent community resource for compost education.
Whether you're new to composting or a seasoned gardener, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect with fellow community members, and make a lasting impact. Together, we'll:
- Build and assemble the compost system
- Fill the bins with compost materials
- Learn composting basics from local experts
- Help create a new educational space for our community
π Help Feed the Compost!

- Dry leaves
- Shredded paper or cardboard (no glossy paper)
