A chance discovery has revived the music of Florence Price, featuring her evocative piece, "Ethiopia’s Shadow in America", which portrays the journey of Africans from enslavement to faith and adaptation.

Experience the U.S. premiere of Mark Simpson’s Piano Concerto, a vibrant work filled with lively rhythms and memorable melodies, performed by the talented Víkingur Ólafsson.

Under the direction of Cristian Măcelaru, we will also explore Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, a composition marked by introspection and clarity, reflecting the composer’s profound and autobiographical statements.
