Set within the current group exhibition A Kinetic Negotiation, curator Thom Oosterhof and artist Viktoryia Dijk will guide us through the exhibition's mechanics. Discover Thom's curatorial process and the overarching thesis of this intriguing show, while exploring how Viktoryia's unique artistic practice interacts with these ideas.

About the Exhibition:

A Kinetic Negotiation (May 7 – June 22) showcases the works of four talented artists: Angela Santana, Jameela Sentheden Gordon-King, Lisa Jahovic, and Viktoryia Dijk. Curated by Thom Oosterhof Projects, the exhibition dives into the human condition amidst rapid societal shifts, highlighting the tension between the constraints we face and the primal urges that yearn for freedom. 🌍💫

About the Curator:

Thom Oosterhof is a New Zealand-born, Amsterdam-based independent curator passionate about storytelling and empowering emerging artists on a global platform. Having curated over thirty projects across various international venues, Thom seeks to translate the challenges and voices of contemporary artists into resonant narratives.

About the Artist:

Viktoryia Shydlouskaya Dijk (1992) is a Belarus-born, Dutch artist who divides her time between Rotterdam and London. A recent graduate of the Royal College of Art (RCA) with an MA in Painting, Viktoryia's work merges graphic design and fine art, utilizing raw mediums like dry pigment and rabbit skin glue on linen for her large-scale canvases.

About the Gallery:

Located in the vibrant Fredriksplein neighborhood of Amsterdam, Homecoming Gallery is a female-run space committed to presenting a dynamic program of contemporary international artists. 🌟
