🌊 Experience 'Rising' at Baruch Performing Arts Center!

Join us for the New York premiere of Rising, featuring the captivating choreography of Gabrielle Lamb and the exquisite live music performed by the GRAMMY®-nominated Neave Trio! This event is part of the CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), which provides invaluable creative residencies for NYC's dance community.

🎭 About the Performance

With a focus on our connection to Earth's oceans, Rising beautifully intertwines Robert Sirota’s emotive music with intricate dance movements. The performance reflects on the pressing issues of climate change and rising sea levels, making it both timely and essential.

The program runs for approximately 60 minutes with no intermission and includes recorded texts from noted oceanographer Curtis Ebbesmeyer and naturalist Craig Foster. This project was a collaborative development taking three years, marked by the dedication of both the composers and dancers.
