Join us for a ride that explores the ideas, inventions, and stunning architecture that made Berlin a leading scientific and industrial hub around 1900. We'll cycle through Kreuzberg, Tiergarten, Moabit, Charlottenburg, and Mitte, discovering power stations, research institutes, engineering landmarks, and beautiful public buildings, culminating in a refreshing beer by the water.
The Tour
We will follow the "Innovation und Eleganz" Industrial Heritage Cycle Route, starting at the Deutsches Technikmuseum and passing through Berlin's former industrial neighborhoods. Highlights include:
- Kraftwerk Moabit
- AEG Turbine Factory designed by Peter Behrens
- Elegant buildings in Charlottenburg
- KPM Porcelain Manufactory
We'll finish with a well-earned beer beside the Spree. 🍺
