Darren Kiely, hailing from County Cork, Ireland, is one of the prominent new voices in contemporary folk. His sound draws from traditional Irish music, blending it sensitively with a modern aesthetic inspired by artists like The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, and Noah Kahan.

Having dedicated himself to music since childhood, he fully embraced singing in 2019, quickly captivating audiences with his raw, emotional performances. After achieving success in traditional Irish music, he moved to New York in 2022, later heading to Nashville to further develop his songwriting style.

On his EP From The Dark, Kiely explores deeper themes related to adolescence, change, and personal transformation.
