Deep Underground Spring Social presents Nau Leone (BYO Studio)

Having pushed the envelope for deep, melodic and progressive house across the Midlands since October 2023, Deep Underground brings its signature gathering to the capital for the second instalment of its Spring Social series. On Saturday 18 April, from 2pm until 1am, we take over Nico's in Hackney Wick for twelve hours of immersive, groove-led electronics.

Headlining is Spanish producer Nau Leone, flying in fresh from a run of festival dates and shows worldwide. His music trades in cinematic landscapes, three albums deep, including last year's All We Have Is Now, Leone builds worlds where melody meets texture and restraint meets feeling. Expect a set that travels from one of our favourite producers.

Joining him is a cast pulled from the UK underground and beyond. Tris and GYS (TT) arrive fresh from a standout b2b for Renaissance x Deep Underground in Nottingham, bringing transatlantic chemistry to the booth.

London Hatred, the project of Kay Jupe, weaves garage, breaks, ambient and disco into a sound that's earned support from Bicep and BBC Radio 1's Jaguar. Christian J b2b London Hatred promises 90s/00s trance, progressive and classic house, while XSPEC and BEKIMACHINE reignite a b2b last seen in Birmingham last June 2024: infectious and upbeat.

Elsewhere, Adela, set to support Étienne de Crécy in May 2026, brings elite selections from melodic and progressive house, while Stray Son delivers his signature blend of minimal, techno and progressive warmth, fresh from warming up for Proff and Volen Sentir. Gaz Rowland rounds out the bill: a liver-and-breather of the scene, a tireless supporter, and exactly the local anchor our event needs.
