About the event

Not another panel. Not another “ecosystem” event.
We’re bringing a group of Berlin-based deep tech founders to Paris — people who are in the middle of building, fundraising, testing, and trying to make things actually work.
This evening is about putting them in a room with the Paris ecosystem — and seeing what comes out of it.
Who we are
About MotionLab.Berlin
MotionLab.Berlin is one of Germany’s leading hardtech innovation hubs and part of the federal de:hub initiative. Based in Berlin, we work with startups across climate tech, mobility, advanced manufacturing, and industrial innovation — supporting them from prototyping through to market entry and international expansion.
At the same time, MotionLab.Berlin is a place where companies actually build — developing and testing hardware, iterating on products, and figuring out how to scale in the real world. Most of the teams we work with are past the idea stage and focused on finding customers, running pilots, and entering new markets.
DeepTech in Motion is how we take that out of Berlin — bringing startups into new ecosystems to make direct connections, not just introductions.

About our Paris partner
Investessor – Business Angels Association
Founded in 2002, Investessor is France’s first Business Angels association and today brings together more than 120 members supporting innovative startups at the seed stage.
Since its creation, the association has received more than 15,000 startup applications, supported 250 startups, and invested over €50 million.
Together with Investessor, we aim to strengthen direct connections between the Berlin and Paris innovation ecosystems – creating opportunities for investment, partnerships, and long-term collaboration.
Why this evening
Most international expansion sounds good on paper. In reality, it comes down to a few conversations that actually go somewhere.
We’re here to start those conversations.

Who’s coming from Berlin
The delegation brings together a mix of startups and ecosystem players working across climate tech, industrial innovation, AI, advanced manufacturing, and hardware:
Pilotfish Berlin – supporting companies with hardware product development and manufacturing

What to expect
3-minute pitches — quick  to understand what each team is building
Open networking — no stage after that, just conversations
A mix of founders, investors, corporates, and operators
