Denver Sketch Crawl (via Train)

Join us for the Denver Sketch Crawl this summer solstice Sunday—an opportunity to sketch beautiful scenes along the G Line!

We’ll take a leisurely ride from Union Station to Arvada, stopping at three unique spots to unleash our creativity:

🚉 Start at Union Station (10:00 AM) - Gather under the iconic 'Travel by Train' sign for a quick overview and warm-up sketch of the stunning Beaux-Arts architecture or the lively plaza.
🚋 Onboard the G Line (10:30 AM) - Enjoy a short 8-minute ride to our next destination.
🚉 41st & Fox (10:38 AM - 11:08 AM) - Sketch the grain silos, Denver skyline, and RiNo street art for a full 30 minutes.
🚋 Next stop: Olde Town Arvada (11:21 AM - 11:51 AM) - Delight in sketching historic storefronts in the summer light for another 30 minutes.
🚋 Return to Union Station (12:12 PM) - Finish the morning by sharing our sketches over coffee/lunch in a laid-back setting.

📅 Details:

• Cost: Just $2.75 per person for a 3-hour RTD pass that covers all rides. Grab your ticket at Union Station!
• Parking Options:
  • Free parking at 41st/Fox Park-n-Ride (ideal for a quick ride)
  • Union Station garage ($10–15)
  • Free street parking available in surrounding Lo-Hi blocks on Sundays.

🖌️ What to Bring:

• Your sketchbook and favorite drawing tools!
• A small folding stool if you have one—some stops have limited seating.
