Design professional circuit boards with Kicad

Are you designing electronics with breadboards or stripboards? Looking to transition to more polished, professional designs? This hands-on workshop is your gateway!

Join us as we dive into the world of Kicad, an amazing Open Source software for PCB design. Over the course of this engaging 3+ hour session, you'll learn to create a simple PCB from the ground up. We'll cover key components:

• 📊 Schematic Design
• 🛠️ PCB Layout
• 📐 Creating Schematics and Footprints

What to Bring:

• Your own laptop (a proper mouse is recommended to enhance your EDA experience)

We'll guide you through the complete process, including how to order your custom-designed boards. Once your boards arrive in a few weeks, you're welcome to solder them at Bitraf!

While you’ll grasp the basics in this workshop, feel free to continue your PCB projects at our regular Build Night on Thursday evenings, where experienced members will be available to provide feedback and guidance.
