About the Park:
William B. Umstead State Park is a beautiful retreat located 10 miles northwest of downtown Raleigh. The park features a vast network of hiking and multiuse trails, three manmade lakes, and picnic shelters. Enjoy fishing, camping, and a rustic overnight experience at the historic Maple Hill Lodge.

What to Bring:

• Good walking shoes
• Plenty of water
• Your enthusiasm!
